Not quite the depth and color of other books in this series. It is none the less interesting and a good review of a narrow field.

Use it for validation or stimulating your own creative processes or just for the joy of looking. Like500 Tiles: An Inspiring Collection of International Work (500 Series) it is well worth buying for your own collection as well as teaching.
The book provides beautifully photographed plates. A great inspiration for those with a passion for pottery.
As with all of the "500" series books, this one was beautiful and, as a potter myself, I found it full of ideas and concepts. I love that these books are so varied in content. It makes the world of potters and pottery more intimate. Like having dozens of galleries at your fingertips.
Like another reviewer, I am a practicing artist and am also collecting this series from Lark. This book has a fabulous variety of plates. A great addition to the library of any artist, not just potters.
